A great single with an interesting sound. I’m actually surprised how much I like this single. To this day, I’ve played FUNKY TOWN 300 times!

Other than liking this single and the cover, I posted this particular one because it was the inspiration in the naming of a new site that I would like people to support…Electronic Funky Town ran by NATE is a great Namie resource. Perfume’s 1st original album. It debuted at #1 on the Oricon.

Although I heard of the group, I didn’t actually start listening to them until recently. The group seems everywhere and so many people keep talking about them so I though I’d check them out.

The album is rather good. Channel-Ai has a great write-up of this album, including previews of each track and a few PVs.

It’s only been a short while and I already have a favorite…and it Kashiyuka. ^_^

Welcome to 愛･CANDY!!

Well, it’s fast approaching the 3rd anniversary of J-Pop CD Cover Art. It’s been quite a while now, hasn’t it?

I admit that I’m not as dedicated to the site as I was when I first started and I apologize.

So, I think it’s time for a change! Something to get me excited about J-Pop again. ^_^

J-Pop CD Cover Art is dead. The new site will be called 愛･CANDY (That’s AI-CANDY, a sort of play on words ^_^).

It’s up now and I’ll be working on it for the next couple of weeks. Check it out!

So, what do you guys think?
