「AHS Remix Contest 2006」

Ever since Avex announced those new remix albums from Ayu I was so excited! ^_^ It’s been so long since a remix album and I miss them. There’s hardly any remixes with the singles so we’ve been in a real drought.

Anyway, my point is that this has gotten me thinking about all the Ayu remixes that fans make and how great they are. The annual tradition over at AHS Forum is fantastic. They hold a remix contest where people can submit their fan mix creations and win a prize. It’s amazing what people can do with her songs!

AHS Remix Contest 2008 has just entered the voting stage and this year’s entires are great! As I was hearing enteries from past years, I noticed I didn’t have album art for them. So, being the crazy person I am…I designed some. ^_^

I decided that I wanted the covers to reflect the album that was released that year and near the start of the contests. This one is AHS Remix Contest 2006. I used the cover and font from the (miss)understood album that was released in 2006.

I love remixes! ^_^

UPDATE: My Wii Number added.

I don’t keep a personal blog, but I wanted to share this with everyone. I recently bought a Wii. I absolutely love it! I’ve spent quite a bit of time playing with the Mii Channel. For those of you who don’t know, the Mii Channel is where you can create and trade little characters that look like people and you can use them in certain games.

Anyway, I wanted my Wii to represent me and what I love. That’s J-Pop! So, I made some Mii’s…

First, Ayu-mii. (Pun intended) ^_^

I modeled it from her look during the No way to say time period.

Next, Hikki.

Lastly, Tamori-san from MUSIC STATION. LOL

I just had to make him. ^_^

So, what do you guys think? How did I do? Do they look like their real-life counterparts? ^_^
