HAPPY 1st ANNIVERSARY!

Today is the one year anniversary of J-Pop CD Cover Art! Unfortunately, I don’t have anything special planned. Just more of the same and maybe a few new things to come, I haven’t decided. I regret I haven’t been more consistent with posting covers, but my schedule leaves me very little time to update. I thank everyone who has contributed so far and those who continually support the site. A special thanks to Ray over at Feed of Pop (and Cult of Pop) for allowing the site to grow with adding it to FoP and his weekly mentions of our posts at CoP.

I also wanted to take this time to ask you…What do you think of the site? What needs improving? What feature(s) do you want added or enhanced?

The few I was thinking about were:

  • Adding a Tools page for fonts and the like used in some of our favorite covers.
  • Adding a Music page for listening to a select few that have piqued my interest. (Plus, I love that audio player plug-in.) ^_^
  • Providing archives of the covers grouped by artist or month, I’m not sure.

    The font feature sounds pretty cool! But, I like this site just the way it is; I can't think of anything that needs improvement.

    Thanks for maintaining such an awesome resources site for all J-Pop fans, and I'm looking forward for more features to be implemented.

    Some suggestion here:

    - You might want to try Lightbox script as it makes your site cooler and easier to navigate without the need of using "back" button once you click on an image. There's a few WordPress plugin for this floating around.

    - Take a look into SEO and make your pages more search engine friendly, this will bring you more visitor for sure when done properly

    - Related post plugin is quite useful for users to discover related CD covers
