Actually the songs ARE remastered, it's not entirely noticeable but they are in fact remastered, it's more evident in some of the earlier songs, if you were to play the old "evolution" or "real me" back-to-back with the versions from white, there's a nice change of quality of the background music. I was hoping it would be rearranged too, but the only reason ayu did that for the original "A BEST" was because she didn't even want the album released in the first place, so she wanted to change the vocals for some of her first songs as it was being released against her will and the album was to "mark the end of her career"

I like the A BEST -BLACK- CD-only ver. better. But, honestly, avex coulda just put all these songs on a double album and called it a day. -_-; I'm not really a fan of the covers, 'cause I think Ayu looks like an alien, and they're not too exciting in the least. It doesn't really seem worth the money, this collection, 'cause like you said, they're not even remastered, rerecorded, or rearranged! It's just the plain song. Yet, still, no doubt these will sell well. I wonder if Black or White will sell more?

The "H" CM is included because there are no PVs for "independent", "July 1st", & "HANABI". I was wondering how they were gonna get away with the "PVs of all tracks will be included on the DVD" gimmick. =P
